AllSchool is pleased to inform the general public especially all 2018/2019 graduands of UNIZIK that the 14th convocation ceremony has been scheduled to hold between 9th to 13th of March, 2020.

Details of the activities is as schedule below:

1. Monday, 9th March, 2020
a) The Vice-Chancellor’s Press Conference
Venue: Vice-Chancellor’s Office
Time: 9.30a.m – 10.30 a.m.

b) Interdenominational Service
Venue: University Auditorium
Time: 11.00 a.m.

2. Tuesday, 10th March, 2020
a) Research Fair
Special Guest of Honour
Professor Suleiman .E. Bogoro
Executive Secretary, Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TetFund)
Venue: Rufai Garba Square
Time: 9.00 a.m.

b) Presentation of Prizes to the best graduating students
Time: 2.00 pm
Venue: University Auditorium

3. Wednesday, 11th March 2020
Convocation Lecture by Prof Benedict Okay Oramah

a) Commissioning of newly completed projects by the President, Federal  Republic of Nigeria and Visitor to Nnamdi Azikiwe University or his representative.
b) Award of First Degrees
Venue: Convocation Arena (Main Campus)
Time: 11.00 a.m.

UNIZIK Convocation Dinner Party 2020

Congratulations once more on your successful completion of your doctoral programme at our School.  Congratulations on your forthcoming convocation.

The PG School has lined up a number of activities to celebrate you as you come for your Convocation.  The following events await your enjoyment:

  • Wednesday 11th March 2020 @ 7p.m. –  DOCTORAL GRADUANDS DINNER PARTY;
    Venue:  Selina Hall, Finotel Classique, Agu Awka, Anambra State

    • Checking in starts at 6:30p.m.
    • You are entitled to bring only one guest to the Dinner Party
    • You are requested to pick your invite at the PG School from
    • March 2 – 11, 2020 from 8 a.m. to 3p.m.; please note that the invite admits.
  • Thursday March 12th, 2020

N.B:  You are to pay Certificate Fee of N2,000 via remita platform for your PhD Certificate.  Please come with the originals of your bank print out for the payment of academic gown and certificate.

You have reached the zenith of the academic ladder!  You are now a proud and confident Doctor of Philosophy!  You cannot afford to miss this great celebration where you are the chief guest of honours!

Security Notice to All UNIZIK Graduands.

1. Luggages and bags will not be allowed into the Convocation Arena.
2. Parking lots are designated and can only be used on presentation of parking card and invitation card
3. University Security Personnel and other Security Agencies will direct all Vehicles to the designated parking lots.
4. No form of hawking of any item will be allowed near the Convocation Arena
