DIRECT ENTRY REQUIREMENT FOR BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION

Below is the Direct Entry (DE) requirement for Business Administration in faculty of Administration.

  • Two (2) ‘A’ level passes chosen from Economics, Accounts, Business Management, Government, Geography or Statistics.

(i) AAUA accepts ND upper credit in relevant programmes or HND lower credit plus the UTME requirements.

(ii) AAUA requires ‘A’ Level pass in Economics or Business Management.

(iii) ABU accepts  Two ‘A’ Level / IJMB passes in Management/Social Science Subjects one of which must be Economics. A Minimum Merit in ABU Diploma in Insurance, Management, Banking or Accounting.

(iv) FED-KASHERE accepts Two ‘A’ Level credit passes in Economics, Accounting, Management or ND/NCE with credit passes in relevant subjects.

(v) UNIABUJA accepts two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in Economics, Commerce; NCE or ND at upper credit level or ten (10) points in IJMB in relevant subjects in addition to the ‘O’ Level requirements.

(vi) ADSU – As in Public Administration.

(vii) AUN same as in Finance

(viii) EBSU accepts HND, NCE/ND pass at merit/credit level in relevant programmes in addition to ‘O’ Level requirements. ND must be at upper credit level.

(ix) ESUTECH accepts ND in relevant programmes within the Faculty into 200 level in addition to the UTME requirements.

(x) FUDMA accepts Two ‘A‘ level passes in    Economics/Marketing and Mathematics or any Social Sciences subject.   ND/NCE with good grades in Business Management from a recognized institution.

(xi) JOS accepts ND lower credit, DELSU and BAYERO (upper credit) in relevant programmes.

(xii) LAGOS (UNILAG) requires Very good passes in three (3) JUPEB/’A’ Level subjects: Economics and any two (2) of Financial Accounting, Business Management, Government, Geography and Mathematics.

(xiii) MCPHERSON accepts

a) JUPEB/IJMB/ATS (Final) of ICAN or approved equivalent in related programmes.

b) AIB or other professional qualifications in relevant programmes.

(xiv) MADONNA, EBSU and COOU accept ND lower credit, AIB and Degree/HND in relevant programmes.

(xv) NASARAWA (NSUK) accepts HND at lower credit, AIB or other Professional qualifications in relevant programmes or IJMB in relevant subjects not below ten (10) points.

(xvi) OOU accepts NCE/ND/HND.

(xvii) OOU, EVANGEL and UYO -Same as in Banking and Finance.

(xviii) PHC accepts Two (2) Advanced level GCE or HSC or JUPEB or IJMB passes in Mathematics and at least one (1) of Economics, Statistics, Accounts including UTME entry requirements.OND (upper credit) or HND (Merit Pass) in Business Education, Business Studies, Business Administration, Marketing, Purchasing and Supply, Office Management, Secretarial Administration, Public Business Studies or Business Studies from any recognised institution, including UTME entry requirements.NCE with at least credit passes in Business Education, Business Studies, Business Administration, Marketing, Purchasing and Supply, Office Management, Secretarial Administration, Public Business Studies or Business Studies from any recognised institution including UTME entry requirements

(xxvii) DELSU requires

  • DELSU accepts
    a) GCE ‘A’ Level or HSC passes in Accounting or Economics and at least one other subject.
    b) ND obtained from approved     polytechnics or colleges of technology in Accounting with a grade not lower than Upper Credit.
    c) Foundation/Intermediate Exam. Passes      of recognized professional bodies as ICAN, ACCA, ICMA, ANAN, ACIB, provided the candidates have  credits at WAEC, SSCE or GCE O/L in five subjects to include English Language, Mathematics and Economics.
    For Business Administration, DELSU requires
    a) National Diploma with a minimum of Upper Credit in a relevant discipline obtained from an approved and reputable institutions of Higher Learning. Essentially, OND in Comprehensive    Business Administration would be given preferences.
    b) GCE A/L or HSC in at least two subjects    of which one must either be Mathematics    or Economics.
  • RHEMA accepts ND/HND in Accounting plus the UTME requirements.
  • GOUU accepts
  • For Accounting, B.Sc., BA or HND in other programme, ND upper credit in Accounting, Foundation of ICAN.
  • b. For Business Administration, two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in Economics and any one of Mathematics, Statistics, Geography, Physics, Chemistry, Agricultural Science, Accounting, Business Management, History and Government.                                                                                                         BSc, BA or HND in other programmes, ND upper credit in Business Administration.

    For Public Administration, UMYUK accepts a minimum of 9 points in IJMB/HSC/GCE ‘A’ Level/NCE in relevant subjects. Candidates with a minimum of lower credit pass in National Diploma/HND in Public Administration or its equivalent in Management Science subjects from recognized institutions may also be admitted.
  • RENAISSANCE accepts ND credit from a recognised institutions in related programmes like Accountancy, Business Administration, Banking and Finance, Marketing plus the UTME requirements.
  • CALEB:
    a. For Business Administration accepts ND credit level in Business Administration, Secretarial Studies or Social Sciences related studies may be considered for admission by Direct Entry provided they have the UTME requirementsat one sitting.
    b. For Accounting accepts ND credit in Accounting, Banking, Financial Studies or Social Sciences, related studies may be considered for admission by direct entry provided they have the UTME requirements at one sitting.
  • NDU requires
    i. Candidates must possess two (2) ‘A’ Level passes which must include Economics or:

    For Accounting;
