FULL-TIME HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA: Candidates applying for the Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes must possess National Diploma (ND) in the same discipline from accredited institutions.

FULL-TIME POST HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA: Candidates applying for the Post Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes must possess Higher National Diploma (HND) in Urban and Regional Planning from accredited institutions.

1. National Diploma in Architecture at Lower Credit or above plus 1-year Post-ND Industrial attachment or in exceptional cases, candidates with a Pass and 2 years Industrial attachment may be considered.

BUILDING TECHNOLOGY

English, Language, Mathematics, Physics

Any two (2) additional Credits from: Chemistry, Geography, Economics, Further Mathematics, Building Construction, Technical Drawing/Fine Art, Biology/Agric. Science, Metalwork, Woodwork, Block- laying/Concreting

1. National Diploma in Building Technology at Lower Credit or above plus 1-year Post-ND Industrial attachment or in exceptional cases, candidates with a Pass and 2 years Industrial attachment may be considered.

CERAMIC TECHNOLOGY

Credit in Mathematics, with at least Pass in English Language. OR Credit in English Language with at least Pass in Mathematics.

1.Â Â Any four (4) credits from: English Language, Fine Art, Economics, Geography, Technical Drawing, Physics, History, Islamic Religious/Christian Religious Studies, Government, Biology, Chemistry, Woodwork, Mathematics, Literature. in Eng., Agric. Science, Business Method, Commerce, Further Mathâ€™s., Food & Nutrition, Home Economics, Accounting, French, Metal Work, Building Construction, Screen Printing, Printing & Decoration, Carpentry, Welding & Fabrication, Photography, Printing Craft, Dye & Bleaching and any Nigerian Language.

A.Â National Diploma in Arts & Design or General Art or Fine Art or Photography at Lower credit or above plus 1-year Post- ND Industrial Attachment or in exceptional cases, candidates with a Pass and 2 years Industrial Attachment may be considered. B. Holders of Nigeria Certificate of Education (Fine Arts & Design) would be considered.

ESTATE MANAGEMENT

Credit in English Language, Mathematics, Economics one core science subject from (Chemistry, Biology, Physics or Agric. Science)

Any additional one (1) Credit from: Geography, Agric. Science, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Accounts, Government, Commerce Technical Drawing, Basic Surveying, Building Construction, Metal Work.

1. National Diploma in Estate Management at Lower Credit or above plus 1-year Post-ND Industrial attachment or in exceptional cases, candidates with a Pass and 2 years Industrial attachment may be considered.

GRAPHICS DESIGN AND PRINTING TECHNOLOGY

Credit in Mathematics, with at least Pass in English Language. OR Credit in English Language with at least Pass in Mathematics.

A. National Diploma in Arts & Design or General Art or Fine Art or Photography at Lower credit or above plus 1-year Post- ND Industrial Attachment or in exceptional cases, candidates with a Pass and 2 years Industrial Attachment may be considered. B. Holders of Nigeria Certificate of Education (Fine Arts & Design) would be considered.

PAINTING TECHNOLOGY

Credit in Mathematics, with at least Pass in English Language. OR Credit in English Language with at least Pass in Mathematics.

PROFESSIONAL DIPLOMA (POST HND) IN URBAN AND REGIONAL PLANNING

English Language, Mathematics, Geography and/or Economics, one science subject from Biology, Agric. Science, Chemistry, Physics.

Any One (1) additional Credit Pass in History/Government, Technical Drawing, Biology, Agric. Science/Health Science.

HND in Urban & Regional Planning with Lower Credit and above.

QUANTITY SURVEYING

English Language, Mathematics, Physics

Any additional two (2) credits from: Geography, Economics, Biology/Agric. Science, Technical Drawing, Building Technology, Chemistry and Woodwork.

National Diploma in Quantity Surveying at Lower Credit or above plus 1-year Post-ND Industrial attachment or in exceptional cases, candidates with a Pass and 2 years Industrial attachment may be considered.

SCULPTURE TECHNOLOGY

Credit in Mathematics, with at least Pass in English Language. OR Credit in English Language with at least Pass in Mathematics.

A.Â National Diploma in Arts & Design, General Art, Fine Art, Photography at Lower credit or above plus 1-year Post- ND Industrial Attachment or in exceptional cases, candidates with a Pass and 2 years Industrial Attachment may be considered. B. Holders of Nigeria Certificate of Education (Fine Arts & Design) would be considered.

SURVEYING AND GEOINFORMATICS

English Language, Mathematics, Physics

Any additional two (2) credits from: Further Mathematics, Chemistry, Geography, Economics, Biology or Agric. Science, Technical Drawing and Fine Art.

National Diploma in Surveying & Geoinformatics at Lower Credit or above plus 1-year Post-ND Industrial attachment or in exceptional cases, candidates with a Pass and 2 years Industrial attachment may be considered.

TEXTILE TECHNOLOGY

Credit in Mathematics, with at least Pass in English Language. OR Credit in English Language with at least Pass in Mathematics.

A.Â National Diploma in Arts & Design or General Art or Fine Art or Fashion Design at Lower Credit or above plus 1-year Post ND Industrial Attachment or in exceptional cases, candidates with a Pass and 2 years Industrial Attachment may be considered. (B). Â Holders of Nigeria Certificate of Education (NCE) (Fine Arts & Design) would be considered for admission.

URBAN AND REGIONAL PLANNING

English Language, Mathematics, Geography and/or Economics, one science subject from Biology, Agric. Science, Chemistry, Physics.

Any One (1) additional Credit Pass in History/Government, Technical Drawing, Biology, Agric. Science/Health Science.

National Diploma in Urban & Regional Planning at Lower Credit or above plus 1 year Post National Diploma ND Industrial Attachment. In exceptional cases, candidates with a Pass grade but with 2 years Industrial Attachment may also be considered.

ACCOUNTANCY

National Diploma in Statistics at Lower Credit or above plus 1-year Post-ND Industrial attachment or in exceptional cases, candidates with a Pass and 2 years Industrial attachment may be considered.

How to Apply for the Polytechnic Ibadan HND Form.

Interested and qualified candidates are to visit the application portal admission.polyibadan.edu.ng to complete the Online application form.

Application procedure:

To Start your Application processes, you are to click on “Start Application” under the General Menu to the left side of your screen or “Proceed” below and then supply your UTME Registration/Form Number and other information as requested.
After supplying your details(i.e. UTME Reg. No, Form No., Fullname, etc) on the next page, you can then proceed to make payment for your application. However, proceeding to make payment means that you affirm that the details supplied are correct. Nevertheless, you are still allowed to confirm your details once more before you make payment.
Before making payment, make sure your details are correct. Any successful payment CANNOT BE REFUNDED .
After a successful payment, you will then proceed to create an account. You will be asked to supply/verify a user password, an email address and a valid phone number.
After successfully creating an account, you can then proceed to fill the application form by logging in to your account.
Please note, after successfully creating an account, you should always use the “Returning Applicant” link under the General Menu. However, until you successfully make a payment and create an account as stated above, you are to use the “Start Application” link instead.
As a “Returning Applicant”, you will be able to fill the Application Form and then complete the application process.
Please note:, after submission of your Application Form, you will NOT be able to change the Passport Photograph uploaded and other details supplied. Hence confirm your details and make sure the passport uploaded is yours before you attempt to submit your Application form.

The application fee is N12,500 (Twelve Thousand Five Hundred Naira) Only.
