FUNAAB’s best graduating student wins Erasmus Mundus Scholarship to study in both Belgium and Norway

Mrs. Odunayo Odunsi Sholanke the best graduating student of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) in the 2017/2018 set has won the Erasmus Mundus Scholarship Award to study in both Norway and Belgium.

She was earlier awarded the best graduating student of Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) in 2020 after graduating with a CGPA of 4.85 from the Department of Aquaculture & Fisheries Management

She has taken to her Linkedin handle to announce that she has commenced a two-year International Master of Science in Health Management under the framework of the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree with a fully-funded scholarship.

The Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters Scholarship is a high-level integrated study programme and it is awarded by the European Union. The Scholarship programs are designed and delivered by an international partnership of higher education institutions from different countries worldwide.

Narrating how she got the scholarship, Odunayo said: “Against this background, I will be studying at two Europe’s leading institute in aquaculture (Ghent University and Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Trondheim) which offers me in-depth theoretical and hands-on training in the latest techniques in aquaculture health and disease management”.

She has expressed her excitement about the prospects that the program offers while looking forward to a life-changing opportunity for cultural integration and exploration of cultural diversity across European countries.
