The Polytechnic Security Unit, therefore, reminds all Staff and Students of the Polytechnic of the need to be security conscious Within and outside the campuses in order to assist the security agencies to curb the menace.
The Security personnel in a release urged both staff and students to adopt the following precautions appropriately:

“Staff and Students should restrain from walking lonely paths alone and not be distracted with headphones or phone conversations.”
“Late and early traveling should be totally avoided”
“Be proactive. Promptly raise alarm wherever and whenever you notice or suspect an impending attack or security breach by person or group of people suspected to be armed herdsmen/bandits etc by notifying people around you and report to security agencies.”
