Meet UNN graduate who sent herself to school and still was the best graduating student in her department

Esther Nwankwo is a Super Lioness who defied the odds and became the best graduating student of her department after struggling to achieve a university education.

Esther took to her LinkedIn page to narrate how her education almost ended after she finished secondary school.

She said her father could not send her to the university due to financial constraints.

Esther said she was skeptical about her future but her determination to succeed kept her going, adding that she was determined and willing to pay the price of success.

She wrote: “I set out on my path to become educated. I took up several menial jobs to save up for higher institution.”

Esther said she took a step and God came through for her.She bagged a national diploma and went on to become a BSc holder in Accounting from the University of Nigeria Nsukka.

She said she became an AAT holder and a chartered accountant while still an undergraduate.

Esther N. Nwankwo is a first class Accounting graduate from UNN and also the best graduating student of the department. She has inherent passion for finance and investment analysis. She has proven this passion by passing all AAT and ICAN stages in just one sitting.

She has demonstrated her Leadership and business skills while working as an Audit intern and Audit trainee with different firms of Chartered Accountant.

She is passionate about helping Old women and Children as this made her volunteer for Padup Africa an NGO whose focus in on providing relief materials to the poor. And a volunteer member of Nigeria Red-cross society.

What makes Esther an exceptional young lady is her continuous passion for learning, she is self motivated, reliable and a role model to other young ladies.

I guess i forgot to add that she has developed some technical skills as well such as advancing her excel skills and Microsoft suite, Sage 50 Accounting software, and currently on her way to becoming a Data Scientist.
