bsu matriculation

The Vice-Chancellor of Benue State University (BSU), Prof. Msugh Moses Kembe has expressed satisfaction with the conduct of candidates who sat for the 2019/2020 Post University Tertiary Matriculation Examination, PUTME which ended on the campus recently.

The PUTME was written by a total of 7,303 applicants out of the over nine thousand who applied to the University through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Examinations Board’s Universal Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME).

The Computer Based Aptitude Test was held from Wednesday, 2nd to Friday, 11th October, 2019 and results of the candidates were released as soon as they finished the examination.

An analysis of the results shows that the general performance was satisfactory with a good number of candidates scoring 40% and above.

Furthermore, over 60% of candidates that sat for the Post-UTME in the Faculties of Arts, Law and College of Health sciences scored above 50%.

The Management of the University has since commenced a forensic analysis of the entire exercise, preparatory to commencement of the admission exercise for the 2019/2020 academic session.
